I've just got my 3 screens working in Eyefinity.

Im using a HD 5870 and the new Sapphire Active DisplayPort adaptor. I watched this video to help me get it all set-up.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZAkCoaq384

What im struggling to understand now is ive just launched Modern Warfare 2 and its not stretching across the 3 screens, its playing in all 3 screens individually which is not what I thought it would do.

Is there something I missed ?

Go into ccc, displays then you need to create a monitor group.
Once that's done and setup you may need to change res in game also for it to display properly

Cheers, I set the group and then I noticed I could change the screen resolution in the game :p

I'm not liking it though, set to 5760x1080 in 16:9 the detail and game play is not so good at all..

Think ill stick to a single 1920x1080 for me shooters !

Thanks

u need the widescreen fixer to alter the aspect ratio so it looks right on the screen

Cheers Macca

Now I just need to work out how to use the pesky program, defiantly not easy

I've downloaded the program and the game .dll Im going to have to play with the settings as i cant seem to get the fixer to enable.

Screenshots look very good though

Just press * ingame ;)

Im gonna take the assumption and say your new to this.
Basically if the field of view or aspect ratio doesnt look right, it isnt right.

For fixes for other games just go to:

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/

And go into Multi-monitor gaming and search for the game, generally there will be info to say if the game runs in eyefinity or not.

Yes im new to this, how did you guess lol ;-)

I got it working, the game played in a windows browser smaller than 1080 tall and for some strange reason the mouse wouldn't work.

Thanks for the links and help, im getting there slowly.

The Wide-screen fix sure did make a great big difference...

Ill post some screenshots when I get there

remember the widescreen fixer for eyefinity absolutley requires the original game, no naughty versions. The latest beta worked for me, steam version x64 win7. You have to start it start the game then * once in game

Yes that's what I found, you have to activate it in game

What settings are you using on the Widescreen Fixer ?

I'm using 1 x 16:9 in the options field don't know if that's right ?
