Just got my Nvidia BFG GeForce 7600GS 256MB PCI and I've installed the latest drivers for them, and everything seems to run fine. However, when booting up the computer, I get a brief black screen that displays the following, then goes away.

Chip Type: GeForce 7600 GS
DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
Memory Size: 256 MB
Adapter Setting: GeForce 7600 GS
Bios Information: Version 5.73.22.16.00

Anyone know why this flashes up, or any ways I can prevent it from coming up? Reason being, this never showed up for my previous ATI card, and I don't like how the screen does this.

its the cards bios that does it only way to turn it off is to edit the bios and flash it which also voids your warrenty

Yeah totally normal, some cards do it, some don't...

Just up to the manufacturer (Board brander, not ATI\Nvidia)

My 6800GT did it, my 7800GTX does it and so did an FX5900 i had...an old ATI Rage II did too...

Anyway...:)

Yep.

I'm not really bothered about it, just that I'm not used to it, that's all. :)
