Garage floor & wall paints

Hi all,

should be taking ownership of our first house on Friday (all things being equal!) and the garage floor is bare concrete, with breeze block walls.

Before we move in, I fancy painting the floor and walls to tidy things up. Nothing mental, just that sort of slate grey paint on the floor and white walls to make it look clean and tidy.

Can anyone recommend a good masonry paint for the walls, and decent quality floor paint that will last please?

Ive used wickes masonry before and its ok. But I would go for johnstones paint, a little dearer but the coverage is better, and its a joy to use.

I used Leyland Contract Matt Emulsion Paint Brilliant White 10Ltr from Screwfix on my walls, great stuff and gives great coverage once dry from a single coat.

Regarding the floor, if you are going to put a car in there all painted flooring I have ever used just breaks up to easily so go with tiles or some matting of some sort. If no car any reasonable concrete floor paint will do the job.
