Garage installed 02 Sensors back to front.... Sigh

Why is it so hard to find garages that do work attentively? I took my car to a "highly rated" garage to have my down pipes installed on my N54. It is a decent distance away, so I made a day of it and took the day off work to make the trip down.

The downpipe install seemed to go well, the guys seemed familiar with the N54 and did the work really quickly. Post install the car sounded great / drove great. Later in the evening during a drive the check engine light appeared, I read the codes and the post cat oxygen sensors have been reconnected the wrong way round! (One wire is grey, and the other is black!).

The car's AFR values seem to be fine on both banks since it threw the check engine light and code, how ever I am concerned about the potential AFR values that were in play before the car picked it up and threw the CEL / Code. What do you guys think?

I am sure the garage will swap the 02 Sensors back no problem, but it's just dissapointing that everytime I visit a garage they always seem to miss something or just not do something properly.

Don’t think you can install wrong way round. You can plug the pre cat to the after cat but then the plugs should be different.
Anyway eml light will come on after a few seconds if they are reading wrong so I’m guessing it’s a dud sensor

It seems hard to find a good garage these days - that will actually care about the job they are doing beyond simply carrying out a checklist exercise on a highly standardised service - I've had instances where they've left other problems (even just simple things like panels underneath unsecured which weren't an immediate problem but not a good situation) untouched and unremarked because "it wasn't part of the work they were doing", etc. and a reluctance to do a proper investigative job even if you want to pay for it i.e. if there are signs that the problem might be something other than a/the standard process they'll still continue following through the standard process and then maybe if you are lucky bring it up to be dealt with by another standard process and if it falls between different services they do really hard to get traction on it being dealt with.
