Hi all.
~1y ago I moved into a new build home with a double garage.
It is pretty much a standard double with a single skin wall and a regular tiled roof.
I have added some led baton lights, painted the walls white and have used Duramat tiles on the floor (my last house was a new build and the floor paint would never stick!).
Below are some links for a few pictures of the garage, along with the two extremely manly cars that live in there.

My next step is to put some shelving up.
My thoughts are to make some custom shelves like the below, as this way I can custom make them to fit around the double skin sections that poke out in order to maximise storage space yet still fit 2 normal cars in (so 2 x mx5s with plenty of space around to work on them).
I think I'll go for the fully legged version since then the wall bolts are only for stability and do not form part of the structure itself.

A search online has given me many ideas, with one being to simply buy sturdy metal shelves.
Any ideas or pointers much appreciated.

I recently setup some metal shelving in the loft using an assembly kit from Racking Solutions. They have a lot of choice for sizes and it saved a lot of time compared to buying, measuring and cutting sections of wood and board. I costed it out and the assembly kit was cheaper than buying the wood for custom shelving. Obviously, if you have spare wood lying around that might be the way to go?

I was going to build my own as above but with the price of timber nowadays it was cheaper and a lot easier to just buy a big back of that metal rack shelving.

Sure it's not quite as custom but it's done its job for me well.

The main thing that puts me off a lot of metal racking is the chipboard shelves that sag over time.
MDF and metal shelves are available, but of course are reflected in the cost.
