I have quite a few on going questions about my garden, some big and some small and some I may never ask due to not getting around to it.

Others can use this thread too if there's not a similar one.

I have a wobbly fence post that's part of the run of fencing. I can see it's loose in the ground. Can j just buy some postcrete, try and sudden the hole and pour it down? I don't fancy removing the fencing panels either side.

Depends, I'm guessing this is a wooden fence post?

You'd have to inspect it first and see whether it's rotten or not, it must be loose for a reason.

If the wood is good then yes, seal the wood, let that dry. fill with postcreate and hold level while it dries.

if the post is rotten it will need changing, Maybe try to remove panel either side and if post is that loose you will be able to lift and see what the issue is. IF post is good postcrete and away you go

Dig a hole around the post so you can get a good look at it. If its rotten just under the ground concrete isn't going to help unless you replace the post. If you're really adverse to disconnecting the panels and want o bodge it you could put another post next to it and concrete it and screw it to the old one. I wouldn't recommend that though as it won't look that good, replacing would look better.
If its not rotten then Do as AHarvey says to stop it from rotting.

Any tips for removing an old tree stump?
I've had a stump remover guy around and been quoted £90.
It's an old stump so filling it with a rotting agent won't work. Would an sds drill and chisel attachment work? I've had a go at It with a cutter mattock but made no difference.

Have the same problems myself, seen guys hack at other stumps for endless hours with an axe, had similar idea like yourself with a heavy duty drill and drill piece but yeah people have just burn the darn thing like here:

The car jack idea is not bad shown here:

The £90 quid ain't too bad tbh to remove the stump ! I have stump near a fence so don't think I can unearth it without destroying the neighbors new fence:(

Termites ! great idea, get the little buggers to eat the wood but sadly I don't think many will live 1 million critters eating up the area around it.

From my experiences...if it looks like an absolute ball ache just pay someone else to do it!

Budget £95 so you can be sitting with a 4 pack of beer whilst watching the other guy do the work!

It has been almost a week since you posted, it could have been done and dusted by now and you could be cracking on with something else.

I used a digger to remove a load of stumps, was great fun, until I looked over the fence and saw the tarmacked path that the roots went under :D
