Hi All

Im looking for a decent quality and robust 10ft by 8ft Pent Shed/Log Cabin for under £800-900

Ive seen a few threads regarding sheds from various UK customers...i was interested in this Billy Oh shed - http://www.gardenbuildingsdirect.co...-cabin-windowless-heavy-duty-shed-range/24985

Until i read about quality issues, albeit only on here. Has anyone had any other good/bad feedback here as i take it this wood isnt treated?

Is treated the best/strongest form i should go for as 19mm in my eyes is stronger than say 12mm.

Other sheds ive been looking at are from:

Tiger Sheds - http://www.tigersheds.com/product/tiger-shiplap-pent-shed/

Ilikesheds - http://www.ilikesheds.com/product/1...oove_Pent_Shed_With_3_Windows_And_Single_Door

Empire Sheds - http://www.shedsandthings.co.uk/pent-shed-with-windows-a6cccnproducts101curpage-4-101-c.asp

Shed World - http://www.shedsworld.co.uk/p/Empir...s_and_Door_on_Front_Panel.htm?size__ft=10_x_8

Nordic Timber Buildings - http://nordictimberbuildings.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=65

I would like it to hold general garding equipment and a small area for weights and by stationary bike...so im a bit cautious on the weight side of things with regards to the floor.

Any help or advise is always appreciated

Thanks
Dan

Just incase anyone is reading this....i went with Nordic Timber Builders...great price, delivery 10th June...Spec came to £830 installed with reinforced flooring and canopy. 19mm nordic timber.
Will feedback once installed :-)

Guess you don't want to build your own for half that price?
I've just built a 6ft x 8ft pent because i need the door in a specific place.
I used 47x47 treated timber framing, 12x128mm treated shiplap, 18mm OSB for floor and roof. Total cost was undxer £400.
I've built all the panels and painted it all with Ducksback. Just waiting to assemble it and hopefully it will all fit together.
By the way, loglap planks were'nt much more expensive than shipla so yours wouldn't be a great deal more expensive i don't think.

Oh you pop up now :D:D with the info....tbh the reason im on here, is when it comes to DIY im about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Mind for the increase in cost (say £50-£100) so £500 outlay and the hourse id spend in trying to put it together and failing id rather pay the extra £300 for a professional to install it...at least then i have peace of mind and come back if everything isnt as it should be :-)

There is a price to my time.....but then again im always wanting to save money, just not in this instance...i know id fail.

Got any pics then? I'm thinking of getting an 18x10 from these guys.
