Garmin Forerunner and Garmin Connect?

Purchased a Forerunner 910 the other day and I'm trying to sort it out via my laptop with Garmin Connect. My laptop charges the watch fine but nothing comes up in "My Computer" and Garmin Connect doesn't see it at all.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction to get this working?

Not 100% sure on the 910 but liekly You need to connect via the Ant+ dongle. the USB device is purely for charging.

It would appear you are correct. Got a good deal on the watch on eBay and it didn't come with all the bits and bobs. Bought an ant stick off amazon for £15 now. Cheers!
