Garuentee release date delivery

I pre - ordered Battlefield 3 from Zavvi, it was dispatched on Wednesday.

I paid for Next Day Delivery, 4.95 in which they charged me.

It also get pay now and receive 28th lalala

But im sitting here yet to receive it and they're telling me its standard 3 day delivery meaning it will come tommorow

Am I entitled to claim or ask for a refund right now

Well if you paid for next day and they didn't send it that way then you'd be right to ask for a refund on that as their standard delivery of 2-3 and is free.

You can ask for a refund but their terms say they will refund within 30 days.

I'd personally keep the game if it arrives tomorrow and insist on a refund for postage and take it as a lesson learned and not order from them again. If you have to send the game back it will cost you for postage.. depends if it's principal thing or a money thing

Doubt you can give them hell unless it doesnt turn up tomorrow. technically the game was released today so it really gives them tomorrow to deliver it if youve paid for Next Day Delivery (is that with a courier and does that courier deliver on Saturday? If not then Next Day could even be Monday )- its irrelevant when it was dispatched when it comes to a pre-order...

Im sure if you call up youll get the postage refunded as goodwill - worth pursuing...

EDIT: Just checked and yep their Next Day Delivery is Next Working Day which excludes weekends and bank holidays. So theyve got til Monday to fulfill their SLA. Cheekily it looks like theyve just shipped it earlier using their standard delivery to ensure it gets there by Monday too - check the postage label and if its definitely not uprated delivery Im sure that be something else to use as ammunition as they havent provided the service you paid for...

If you place your order by 3pm Monday to Friday, you will receive your goods the next working day (excludes Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays)

Actually disagree, he said he paid £4.95 for "next day delivery" and they now tell him it's standard delivery in 3 days. That means they've charged him for a service they did not provide and therefore entitled to a refund.

I know where you're coming from but if you pay a suplement for next day and they send it standard post then that's the point.

If you look at my edit, Ive already mentioned that - depends on what postage is stamped on the parcel when he gets it...
