News only just breaking but he has been charged with 8 offences against girls.

Obviously, he is innocent until he is proven guilty :eek:

The charges relate to two women who were aged between 12 and 14 at the time of the alleged offences between 1977 and 1980.

So he's been found guilty of attempted rape of several girls, aged between 10 and 13, from 1975 to 1980.

Now, nobody is going to want to defend Glitter. He's got form for this kind of thing.

But how can there be any evidence of these crimes 40 years after the event? I don't understand how a guilty verdict can be returned.
