Gary Glitter sentenced to Three Years

Gary Glitter has been sentenced to three years in a vietmanese prison for molesting two girls, and will then be deported. His response was disbelief and claiming that it was a conspiracy against him by "you know who".

Nope - he paid off the parents of the children to avoid the firing squad. Seems that's quite common under vietnamese law. As for "you know who", that is as much a mystery to me as anyone else. Given his past history, I suspect it's just a typical conspiracy theorist thing.
