So I reviewed our gas and leccy recently, and my electricity is approx 4x higher than my gas.
We use an annual average of 5700 kWh of electricity, and 21000 of gas.
Apparently our quarterly electricity usage is 2/3 of the average house for 12 months.
In simple terms they're suggesting the average house uses 2200 kWh which just seems impossibly low?
We're in a detached large 3/4 bed house, gas central heating, gas oven, lots of gadgets/TVs and 2 young kids so lots of washing and some drying. I'd expect to be above average, but double?
Does our usage seem wrong to anyone? What are your annual kWh figures? Any help appreciated because I'm looking around the house and I just don't see how we are using nearly double the average house leccy?
