Gas reading error during switchover

I've just recently swapped over my gas and electric between suppliers and having just now received my final gas bill i've come across an error during the switchover.

I provided my new supplier with a reading which has gone through ok on them, however, during the switch over they have given the wrong reading to my old supplier.
They've put me as 100 units less on the final bill and hence I've worked out I will be underpaying by around £50.

Bit of a moral dilemma really as i know it's wrong however it had nothing to do with me and this is a mistake between the two suppliers.

Should i:

Notify my old supplier of the error to be rectified or

Just keep quiet. Obviously if they notice this i would quite happily pay the correct amount but should it be up to me to sort this out?
