Gavin Degraw - Degrot?

My girlfriend insists his second name is pronounced "deh grot."

True or non sense?

I always thought it was 'graw', but she's adamant it isn't.

It's Gavin Deh-Groar; I know this because this is how he is introduced on One Tree Hill in one of the episodes he sings in (several times he's pronounced as such).

You can now gladly tell her she's wrong and rub it in her face.
