What are peoples views on companies changing logos for a month but only in certain countries?
By this point I'd hope we all know this is just companies thinking (incorrectly) they'll somehow get more money if they simply change an icon, rather than having a genuine belief in LGBTQ+ rights. I don't know of any large company who posts a large % increase in profits just in June which makes it just worthless pandering at that point, as proven numerous times by the lack of any icon changes from the global companies in places like China, Russia or the Middle East where the company may stand to lose money if they did.
Long story short - companies doing scummy things for profit.
Which is disgustingly hypocritical and cowardly.Or ordinary companies thinking (correctly) that it's safest to pander to whatever ideology is the most powerful in any given time and place.
Which is disgustingly hypocritical and cowardly.
I think it's awesome, like Titania says, the Arab states are clearly so progressive already that the corporations don't need to bother there:
If these are not the first sentences from some forumers' new novel releasing just in time for Christmas 2021 then I will be livid.Everything becomes gay for a while then it's forgotten after the beginning of august, usually. This phenomenon very noticeable within Brighton's shopfronts and bars.
Sounds like a Noel Coward plot.If these are not the first sentences from some forumers' new novel releasing just in time for Christmas 2021 then I will be livid.
Think it shows they don't actually give a crap and it's nothing more than lip service.
It's just yet another example of how fake everyone and everything is... and the gullible social media generation lap it up.
