Two of my PC's that are the most recent of my "farm" to ask for WU's have downloaded GB Gromacs at 188 points a pop.

Both have advmethods on but a machine (and i just tested another) without -advmethods is getting 3+ times the size of point WU's (Gromacs).. is this just crappy luck or are there a shortage of decent sized WU's at the moment?

One is a 3.4Ghz 1GB RAM etc PC so it's not that they are returning WU's slowly or are struggling..

There aren't a TON of big WUs out there right now but it's certainly not as bad as it was right after they pulled the QMDs. Personally, I find that my P4s get around 200 PPD on the 188 pointers. That's not stellar but it isn't too bad. What sort of PPD do you get, Major?

I disabled -advmethods just for this WU

No issues with :
[21:22:12] Writing local files
[21:22:12] Using table 1
[21:22:13] Extra SSE boost OK.
[21:22:13] Writing local files

Got a 2107, 404 in the mean time. Might be one of the reasons the team's output is lower just now.. few people might be in the same boat.

I've just had 2 2017 404 pointers on my XP2500@3200, they have been the best ppd I've had in ages.

Blue ->
Min. Time / Frame : 23mn 17s - 249.86 ppd
Avg. Time / Frame : 23mn 39s - 245.98 ppd

I'm usualy getting about 150/180 ppd.

I have 3 machines currently churning out no. 2306 (for 188 pts) and as soon as I finish one ... I get another (o joy :(!).

The 364 pointers suit my systems well - those are the best I've seen in a long time. I've been getting 373ppd on a X2 on one core and even 169ppd on my 'old skool' XP 2000+.

Just picked up one of these p2107.. It's running on my slowest rig, but 71 hours is a chuffin long unit for 404 points

-- Console 3 --
No Min. Time / Frame
Avg. Time / Frame : 40mn 28s - 143.76 ppd

That rig can munch it's way through a 1112 point Double Gromacs in the same time.

Between these P2107 and p2306 they are rearly killing my ppd :(

That is slow 71hrs, ouch.

Has anyone got anything other than GBGromacs in the last 24 hours (with large wu yes and -advmethods on)

??

Is there any way to check what is available on the servers for BETA WU's?
