I recently bought Pokemon Green off of the 'bay for GBA to use on my DS, however, after inserting the cart and loading it, I get the Gameboy logo but then just a white screen.

After a clser inspection the box says for sale and use in USA, Canada, Mexico only, does this mean its NTSC? The auction said it was PAL and the seller as replied to my enquiry that he's sure its PAL.

Anyone know what the problem is? Is it just the wrong region?

There's no regions on the GBA. Any version will work in any DS/GBA. Except dodgy fake ones. Look at the circuit board inside the cartridge. Can you see the word Nintendo? If not it's a pirate copy. Ebay is filled with them.

I've just noticed that in the Nintendo inscruption on the back of the cart, the I after N is capitalized, is this a sign of a fake cart?

I guess it must be fake then, =/

The cart is a very dark murky green and the cart case is a turquoise plastic.

It has NIntendo on the back and on the front AGB-APGE-USA in the bottom right hand corner.

No it's not. Many fakes also come with fake boxes and manuals. In my experience it's pretty obvious the manuals are fake.

Yeah mine came in a box with a manual too.

I'm trying to run it on my DS, could it be possible that even if its fake, it might work on a GBA?

The seller seems to be a genuine guy, but mind he's only got 4 feedback. And he already left me positive feedback.
