Just called in to see a relative (yay, got a whole day away from the strip club!) and she's having problems with her hot water taps.
Turn on downstairs tap and the water flows freely for a minute then runs out to a trickle. Turn on an upstairs tap and it's a constant trickle. The hot water tank is on the 1st floor. (it's an immersion tank for incase the boilers dies) The 1st floor tank fills slowly (because the taps run slowly i'm assuming.
Right, here's the query. Are central heating boilers pumped or mavity fed? (thinking the pump could have failed and dead pump is causing a restriction in the hot water flow.) Or does it vary from boiler to boiler?
Cheers
