GD-Library problem!

hi guys

i'm testing a phpbb forum on my laptop with easyPHP 1.8. but whenever i try to upload a pic, i get this -

it work fine on my webserver (dreamhost)

do i have to install GD-Library in my laptop?

it doesnt help me how to install it lol

any tips will be fab

See php.net/gd for all the info you could ever, ever, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever need

I can't remember offhand if XAMPP includes GD as standard - if it does you might as well install it and use that instead, might save time.

php comes bundled with gd. just enable php_gd2.dll in php.ini (windows).

Do a search for php.ini on your computer, and open it in Notepad.
Search (CTRL+F) for 'php_gd2.dll'. You should get a line like ;extension=php_gd2.dll
Remove the semi-colon from the start of the line.
Save and close.
Restart Apache and check again.
