Im not usually one to do this drones of GD but i need to find the best possible for her.

Criteria:

- Loud speaker (shes hard of hearing)
- Caller ID (So she can see whos calling, all these indian calls are stressing her out)
- Answerphone.

It would be a massive help if you can help me find one!

Thanks :D

Quick search for Pansonic bit button cordless phone came back with this as the top result.

"Panasonic KX-TG6592EM Twin Pack Big Button DECT Phone with 40 minute TAM"

Stick that into Amazon, can't link to competitors etc.

In my opinion it would be best to avoid Binatone. I've had a couple of sets in the past and know other people who have and we've always concluded that they're too quiet and somehow not as user friendly and intuitive as they should/could be (i.e. hold down some button whilst pressing another and then press some 3rd button 3 times to make something happen).

Panasonic have always been the best in terms of audio quality imo. But... Certainly not volume.

I can't recommend alternatives, but I know my own Panasonics have been great in all areas except volume.

I know what you mean about volume, but other than that, I think they're the best cordless phones available. They're just too damn durable! :D

How difficult can it be for a phone manufacturer to make a phone that is properly loud but has an AVLS (automatic volume limiter system) function for those who don't want to be deafened?

The biggest complaint with mobile and landline phones is probably the volume (possibly beaten by garbage signal).
