GDC 09 starts this week, last year Gears of war 2, Banjo 3 and fable 2 was announced by microsoft in their keynote, the year before Sony announced home and LBP. This year its Nintendos turn for a keynote presentation, not saying MS or Sony wont have anything up there sleeves though. Some things to look out for.
Bioware are doing a presentation so maybe Mass Effect 2 or hopefully the old republic mmo
Peter Molyneux has a presentation some new lion head games i would guess
Ueda from team Ico is giving a talk so perhaps some news about Trico or what ever the next team ico projects are
Kojima is talking about something or other probably another iphone game lol
Bioshock 2 stuff, perhaps first real trailer.
Insominiac are going to talk about the Resistance 2 DLC and also a comp to create a new gun for the next Ratchet game.
We know that Team ninja are going to show NGS2 for the PS3 at a non GDC event this week.
Also some other things that may happen ie PS3 price drop, 360 price drop, doubt if any thing new hardware wise will show up though. It stats from the 23rd to the 27th March some events ive found so far,
The SCEA PS Blog mixer at GDC next week features tons of games, demos and whatnot. The list of developers attending was confirmed today. It’s pretty damn cool.

* Sucker Punch will be on hand to to demo inFamous

Wednesday - March 25

* Titan Studios will be demoing Fat Princess
* Insomniac will provide a case study for Resistance 2’s co-op and multiplayer
* Jack Buser will be talking Home
* Media Molecule will be there all day discussing LittleBigPlanet and the rise of user generated content.

Thursday - March 26

* Q-Games’ Dylan Cuthbert will demo PixelJunk and give the audience hand time with it.

Iwata will kick off GDC 09 with an address titled "Discovering New Development Opportunities," scheduled to delight the dev-heavy crowd on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 9 AM. His previous keynote, delivered at GDC 2006, focused on "disrupting development" and the genesis of Nintendo's Brain Age: Train You Brain In Minutes A Day.

Im sure more details will emerge as the week goes on, keep on eye out on the normal gaming websites for news.

Im ollowing the Iwata nintendo key note, so far a few wii ware games have been shown including a game that you use the wii fit board to climb up a mountain or something then jam with a guitar  Wii is also going to have an update to allow you to run games of an SDHC card upto 240 games for a total 32GB card, sounds good so far.

Something interesting from kojimas key note right at the end of 1ups live blog

Kojima Productions wants to do both: add both hardware and software-based design that may actually make that 'ultimate stealth game.'
11:54
Mission: The Next MGS.
11:55
Clipart Snake is replaced with Clipart Raiden. OOH PUTCHER THINKING CAPS ON
11:55
Plug for KojiPro's GDC booth. Y'know, in case you need a job.
11:56
Slide: Before giving up and saying "I can't do it," let's identify the "impossible barrier" that is holding you back.
11:57
People said going to the moon was impossible, but we did it. Nothing is really impossible, I think, Quoting Robert Goddard: It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow."
11:58
Kojima's quote: "90% of what is considered 'impossible' is, in fact possible. The other 10% will become possible with the passage of time & technology."
11:58
Impossible? No, make it possible. "Let's join together and make the impossible possible." Excuse me, I have something in my eye... *sniff*
Next metal gear with Raiden :confused::D

I really love how Nintendo have sorted out the Wii storage problem. I mean yeah, it may not be external hard drives and all that, but support for 32GB SDHC cards is still better than nothing. And its not like Virtual Console or WiiWare games take up a lot of space too. So it will be plenty enough for a lot of people.
