Ok lads, I want you to draw upon your years of Graphic-Tech-Trading and hear your predictions about the value of GDDR5?

Will it rise or fall in value in the coming months?

Any thoughts to do with GDDR5 welcomed, like will nVidia incorporate it into one of their upcoming products?

Is it really a wonder product with no downside?

Can it be manufactured in enough quantity to meet demand etc?

Don't worry mate the penny hasn't dropped for me either! :o

I'm good up to DDR2 then it all goes fuzzy! :D
 
News just in . . . . the value of GDDR5 has taken a sudden downturn since experts at XtremeSystems found out that current batches of the memory being used on new radeon HD4870's may be unstable.

No spokes person from Xtreme was available to comment further but one inside source was overheard saying. "Yo this friggen suxor dude, all I did was flash the BIOS using Beta software, voltmod the card and overclock the memory up a few thousand MHz and it just DIED! . . . . what is this junk that ATI are selling!" :p
