Nice find shanks.:)

What's the chances Nvidia introduce their first ever Maxwell Async Compute enabled Game Ready Driver for GOW4?

I think this will be the big game that makes or breaks the whole universal windows apps.

If it can come out running great on most hardware then it will show both consumers and devs that universal windows apps are not inferior to normal win32 ones.

How ever if it launches like both quantum break and gears or war did earlier this year then it will be a nail in the coffin for Microsoft whole universal windows apps

Will be interesting to see what settings the RX 480 will get away with on this. But unless they release it on steam it's a 'no buy' from me.

I hope it runs great for everyone, The reason I don't want a fail is because I'm hoping we'll get lots of games that would usually be Xbox exclusives. I've already come to the conclusion that there's a lot of great Playstation games coming so I'd like to buy a Neo but I can't afford an Xbox Scorpio as well. And I don't want either of the current consoles, sod all that sub 30 fps milarky.
All the 4k console gaming claims are fantasy I'm hoping a Neo can keep minimums above the mid to high 40's at 1080p, That along with plenty of Xbox titles on Windows and I'll be content.

Is it what Nvidia and Futermark call A-Sync or what AMD call A-Sync? the two are very different.

You don't want a game to run at 40 fps because it won't be in sync with the screen and you'll be getting stuttering.
It's either 30 or 60 unless you are using variable refresh rate screen which isn't currently available for consoles.

Good for AMD, I guess. I'll just wait and see whether it makes enough of a difference to make their cards perform significantly better than their nVidia counterparts, assuming they won't benefit from this at all.

Reserving my judgment and letting fanboys duke it out here, which will inevitably happen;p
