This is a thread for any app/experience recommendations. There's not masses of content available but there's still quite a lot to sift through while you look for the good stuff - I'm still barely scratching the surface D:

I just got my Gear VR and it's not the most user friendly experience. So, a few little bits to help you get started.

Getting started
1. Plug your Galaxy into the Gear VR -- it'll promptly tell you to unplug it to install the software
2. Follow the Oculus set up instructions (making an account)
3. Once set up is complete, plug it back into the Gear VR and put it on your head
4. After a brief tutorial, you're now on the homescreen - grats.

Milk VR
One of the must have apps imho is Milk VR. It's essentially another app store.
1. Connect to your VPN of choice with a US location
2. In the Oculus store go to Samsung Milk VR and download it
3. Disconnect from VPN
4. Profit

Will update as I test stuff out. Anyone got any recommendations?

Eve Gunjack
Gave this a quick run, did a few levels. The gameplay is simplistic and not overly challenging - but it's enjoyable enough for a short spell. I must say it does make you *feel* like you're in a space turret but I can't say it's worth the £7.99

Please don't touch anything!
Really enjoyed this - though it can feel a little frustrating when you're stuck, but then you do something and you're like AHHHHH-Idiot. The overall feel of being in the room is pretty good though, you're looking around and you do feel like you're there - which for a cartoon-esque style room is quite the achievement I think. This one's worth the money imho.

VR Karts: Sprint
Total dog****. The idea is nice, but the karts are waaaaaaaaay to slow and unresponsive - doesn't make for an exciting experience or an enjoyable game. I can't wait for a decent racer though ;D
