gearbox for 1.6 saxo vtr problems?

does anyone know if oil leak from the gearbox in one of these is easy to fix?

Surely that would depend on where its leaking from, why its leaking, and how much (if any) physical damage has been caused :/

Most likely diff seal. Only a few quid and not hard to replace. Pop driveshaft out, pull seal out with a screwdriver, bash new one in with a appropriate sized socket so as to knock it in at the right angle. Driveshaft back in then refill with oil.
