Gears 2 Map pack

Have just got Gears 2 and used the code for the Flashback map pack and has downloaded, but when i go to join a friends game it tells me that i dont have the maps? It was a sealed retail version of the game and the maps are def dl on the hdd. Does anyone know where the problem may lie?

I had a few problems with it. Re-downloaded it and worked fine
