Gears of War 2 Multiplayer...is it me...............

Or does it always take forever to sort out the matchmaking on this game?

Its my 1st time on Multiplayer and everytime I think its found a match it goes back to the damn start again....

Any ideas guys???
 
To get fast matches you need to go in with a full party.

I never do mm alone now,takes toooo long. If i go in with 4 or 5 we wait no more than 20 seconds :)
 
Yeah it's a known fault.

I was trying it the other day on my own. When it finally found a match it put amazingly biased teams. 3 vs 5... the team of three all had low rank badges and the team of 5 all had high rank badges :\

The rumour is.. You will be able to download achievements that you want.

So if you like to snipe, there will be sniper achvos.

Like 100 head shots
like 150 head shots

Etc etc, probably wont happen but my friend was correct about halo 3, halo 2 pc and gears of war 1 and 2 ( and he works for Sony (ps3 dept) go figure)
 
Also I don't like the co-op lobby and how you have to choose a mission first before finding a game, I don't see why they can't just list out all co-op sessions like in the first GOW.
 
I can get into a game fairly quickly, but 9 times out of 10 it's with a group of americans so I get lag and get killed a lot. I'm not that good as it is so it gets really frustrating.
 
This plain sucks arse. I see the update that they have got more servers in for match making seems like it hasn't made any difference. I'm spending more time looking at the lobby screen than playing. Terrible. I'd rather have no match making system.
