Gears of War 3 Horde help.

Hey guys, i recently got myself an xbox 360 again as i sold my last one over a year ago, anyway i got Gears 3, bought the season pass and downloaded the map packs including the booster pack needed for online play, Well i have a problem, i can find matches of any type no problem like TDM, Execution, Zeta, etc but when i try to find a Horde game or Beast it just searches for ages and eventually gives up searching, does anyone else have this problem? my NAT type is open it says on the main menu but i just cant find a game of horde. Pretty pointless really as there is a good few achievements for horde mode and with the horde command DLC.
 
Well i've just loaded up the game for the 1st time in ages, downloaded that booster map pack (something I didn't know existed by the way, that's how long it's been :p) and i've found a match straight away. So I don't know what could be happening really :/

Thanks for your reply mate, i have done some more digging and apparently im not the only one affected by it so i don't know whats happening tbh. My friend said he is going to round some friends up and arrange a Horde night so i think thats the only way i can do it.
 
The NAT type may be open but there can still be issues connecting to matches on some games. I remember having the same issue with Halo: Reach. You can try port forwarding the following ports:

•Port 88 (UDP)
•Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
•Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
•Port 80 (TCP)

You can find the local IP for your xbox in the network settings on the dashboard.
