Hi guys just purchased this game but according to information i have i wont be able to play this game on windows 10.........

I thought i could just add this game to my xbox . com online account and that it would be automaticlly added to my windows 10 microsoft account as this game is a play anywhere game......


could someone verify this cause i think the support person is confusing me....

No not yet, i dont get the key from them until 7th october - release date....

though if i cant use it on windows 10 then im gonna need to know so i can get a refund before they give me the key...

Try redeem on xbox store then it might show up on your xbox windows app?

I thought though the play anyway codes are different to the normal xbox codes.

How can i redeem when i dont get the code until 7th october.
and i would like to know for sure before that happens otherwise im out of pocket.... as i no longer have a xbox one anymore and want it for windows 10.

I personally thought that play anywhere ment that if i purchase any xbox one digital version that i would also have it for windows 10....... according to the info i have been reading Gears of war 4 is a play anywhere release.

yeah like i said though going to get a refund......

its strange though that microsoft would sell just xbox one version and version with windows 10 and xbox one when there both the same price.......

why sell xbox one standalone digital code when you know people will be after play anywhere versions.

though i thought that the physical copys would have been just xbox one and not win10 but digital codes where, its what i read on google search on various websites explaining what play anywhere ment...... :/

If you google Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition Xbox One you will find it on sale on several websites including Game as Xbox One only.

It even says on Game website "Xbox One Console Exclusive".

Personally I wouldnt have bought a game edition that does not mention anything about a PC version in the description tabs or the title without checking or googling first. Especially at £72.99! Perhaps bad for CDKeys for putting the wrong picture but .... just saying.

very misleading. Still wouldn't pay that for a game though.

I would say the one i bought would be the bottom link, as the top link is for the physical xbox one disk version ......

the one i purchased even though from a different website is the digital code so i would assume its the digital version im getting......

i assume the physical version would only work on console but the digital version should work on both though its all very confusing hence why i think im getting a refund and waiting until i know for sure lol reason why i bought from cdkeys is cause i got the ultimate version for £69 only....
