I've got a general question I've not been monitoring my download progress on the app store for Windows 10 however I've only got the one game installing to my 4tb HDD the download progress is 7gb whilst the folder in my hdd that gears 4 is downloading too is 15gb in size? Guess I'll have to wait till its downloaded

As said abouve Gears4 is a very large download 57GB i believe, I fortunately didn't have an issue with the download, but many MANY people had problems with the Win10 store not installation process.

There's another thread somewhere on here

GoW4 on Windows is 85gb, or it requires 85gb of free space prior to installation. I know this as I tried to install it yesterday, but didnt have required soace on my ssd.

Can you actually crossplay in this game yet then?

Crossplay is enabled for horse and the the coop campaign, it has been trailed a couple time for V's too

What's wrong with being a Win10 exclusive? The games is great and is an one best optimised games I have ever played, also it's a breeze to join on a friend using the Xbox app, i was sceptical about the Xbox app but it really is good

Install size and amount downloaded are not the same thing. Typically I would expect downloaded content to be compressed to reduce data usage, whereas upon install some of it may be decompressed.

Also some installers will allocate disk space before the content is downloaded, I think Steam does this.
