Am I the only one who finds the controls clunky? I just have such a hard time aiming.

I can't remember struggling with any other game of any type the way I do with this one. The sensitivity just seems all out of whack to me. It's not sensitive enough in "normal" mode, and too sensitive when in "aiming" mode.

And there is only one sensitivity setting in options, but no matter what I set it to, it just never feels right.

Anyone else find this, or is it just me?

I enjoy the game, and would like to get 2, but with finding the controls so frustrating, I might have to wait til it's cheap...

I find it fine! Although I should say I do find it clunky when you want to move out of cover and you move into cover again - i.e. moving from one pillar to another when you didn't want to.

Ok maybe it's just me.

It's my 2nd play through though, and it just doesn't feel right to me :(

Oh well, won't let it get in the way of me getting the 2nd. I do still enjoy the game immensely - and this time around as I will be getting it around the same time as everyone else (as opposed to the 1.5 years for GoW 1) I will be able to get in on some of that multiplayer action :)

Just too many games out...

aiming is ok with GOW but i'm another that find the whole cover system annoying that i stopped playing it, my boy on the other hand has no difficulty but for me its the worst control method in any game of this style that uses cover

You press a to jump between cover and push away from cover with the analogue stick to get out of cover.

Only problem i had with the gears controls was the grenade aiming system, for some reason it was just really hard to tell where the buggers were going to go and when one of the more important game mechanics is closing those holes up with grenades it became rather frustrating.

Yep, I'd agree with that.

Especially having to be out of cover while trying to aim them perfectly.
