They have release a patch for gears of war, im downloading now, try it in abit
fix doesent say much, hope it helps
details:This Gears of War for Windows patch fixes various performance issues, including the Games for Windows - LIVE update issue.

Hell no, it seems to be a windows LIVE game update to fix the problem of not being able to install a windows LIVE game update.... After manually installing I still get the wargame-gfwlive.exe crash within a minute.

Does the patch fix the fact that this game is boring as hell and should never have come to a real gaming platform such as the PC?

(wargame-gfwlive.exe ) This error is caused by issues with files within the games directory. I have had this twice, simply uninstall the game. And then install again. Problem solved in my case anyhow.

Lol I can't even get the patch to run? Broken... just like the game.

Missing info from registry maybe. Tried reinstalling then patching?

Hmmm but the game works ok. :confused:

I'll patch it after I complete it. I'm on the last level anyways.
