Geek Chic or just Geek?

Its in no way geek chic. I thought geek chic was wearing geeky clothes but as part of a fashionable ensemble. Geeky t-shirts on their own are never geek chic.

To anybody in the street (and me, actually, until I saw the Android comments), it's just a robot.

It's a fair point, actually. The only people who will think it's lame are those who know what it is, which is just as damning for them.

I've had my Triforce t-shirt recognised once. My Umbrella Corporation one gets recognised occasionally. My Cyberdyne t-shirt is recognised very rarely. No one ever gets my Weyland Yutani t-shirt.

If you own an android phone then you will know what it is, its the boot up splash screen as well as other places, it has a decent market share as well.

Ah, is it displayed on the phone? I thought it was just a mascot they used, didn't realise it was on the phone.

That changes things.

Most people wouldn't have a clue even if they own an android phone, hence why the tshirt is geek :p

Don't want that.

Have a t-shirt made with these on:

You'll be an instant hit. :D

You may as well have a t-shirt saying "Hey Ladies, don't **** me"

I have two android phones and that in itself is geektastic.

But if most people don't know what the hell it is to them it's just a shirt with a funny robot on it.

The lady would have to know it's an android logo to make that call.
