One I don't think has been mentioned yet...

When you click on a website, then on the back button, and the site has 'loaded' the back button so it just reloads the current page. Gaaaaaaaaah! What's the idea here? To make me stay on the website? It merely fuels my desire to get the hell away from it as quickly as possible.

It's like going into a shop, browsing for a bit, realising the shop is a bit crap and exiting through the revolving door... only to find yourself back in the shop again. Hmm, well since I'm here I might as well buy THIS FIRE AXE TO CHOP THROUGH THE DAMN WALL.

All I'm saying is, it annoys me a little.

That too! And the sites that bring up a popup box that says "are you sure you want to leave, you'll miss all the best deals...", yes I ****** well do, your site looks either rubbish or dodgey in some way and that popup just makes it even more dodgey!

Mine did - I had to delete it from the signature. Took me a couple of pseudo-pretentious emails to figure out it was doing it.

Edit: Unless you're talking forum posts, which you probably are.

this is why i like the back button on my mouse.

I can physically abuse it untill it agrees to go back rather than punishing my poor left click

When it takes ages to end a process, but if I end the process in task manager, it does it immediately.

It is just pretentious. a large amount of the people who use Apple products are just complete ****. I mean they had an ad campaign based of being able to copy and paste.

It only adds the automatic signature to emails (like a lot of email clients/services do) and it is very easy to change or turn off. The only reason it would appear in a forum is if they typed the message themselves.

You might find Maddox's review of the iphone amusing. Forum rules probably prohibit a link to it, as it is full of foul language right from the title.

Oh this, definitely this I hate this with a passion. Sometimes even abusing my deathadder is not fast enough to get back & I have to start all over.

The easiest way around it is to use the drop down on the 'back' button and skip back over the offending page, for example to the Google search results.
