The photo diode on the mirror will get less light onto it so will dim less but the tinted windows will compensate anyway so.... no win no lose really.

think about what you've just said, if it's tinted it wont be leting as much light through so therefore it wont need to dim as much.....

oh? whats that i can feel in the air? hmm cant quite make it out....

oh, there it is!

XENON ENVY!!

:p

haha :D

ye if i had them i'm sure i'd love them (i can retro fit them off ghia x's or st220's for about £200 might look into doing it.. (proper oem not ebay crap))

but i don't so i hate the nasty little blue twinkling things in my rear view :p

Not all of them twinkle you in the eyes though :p Mine certainly don't! I notice them auto levelling too depending on what's ahead, if there's a car in front the beam will be low but the strange thing is that road signs etc are still illuminated perfectly without xenon beam hitting above the boot lid of the car in front.

I like!

i remember been followed by a focus st3 with xenons, he was a good distance behind me yet he was lighting up ahead of me :D it was amazing tbh
