He wants to get rid of equality under law. That alone is enough to hope he never has power.

I'm sorry but for some inexplicable reason I read that as "...by a mullet extremist" and thought 'ah, that explains the haircut'. Obviously my reading comprehension is not what it should be right now.

In answer to the questions in your first post - can he not be both? It seems to me that he could have either description applied to him.
