Hello all.
Recently I had no option but to upgrade to an i9 9900/Z390 system as my 8700/Z270 system died. I installed GPU-Z its and reporting the GPU is only running in 4x mode. Solutions I've tried....
Reseating the GPU in all PCI-E slots.
Changed the PCI-E rails, even gave them dedicated ones!
Changed power options in windows to 'Ultimate Performance'
I didnt have this problem on my Z270 board btw, it was an Asus Maximus X Hero, I've upgraded to an Asus Maximus XI Hero.
Any suggestions? cheers!
