I've been looking at adding my 470 to my watercooling setup and I've seen that ocers is selling the EK ones, my question is ... it says its only for a reference implementation of the 470 - whereas I have the palit 470, which has a non standard dual fan cooler on it. Looking at the physical layout, the GPU and RAM seem to be in the same locations, but the mofsets and holes are slightly different.

Has anyone tried putting a waterblock onto one of these cards?

Owning a standard 470 myself, I can confirm that's completely different from the stock card in respect to the VRMs etc. The holes are all in different places too.

Has it got a stock metal plate that covers the RAM, VRMs etc? If so you could use a core-only block with the stock VRM plate.

The other thing that Palit card lacks is single-slot ability. One of the great things about watercooling is that you can use single slot-cards, and thus use the next slots on the motherboard.

Guess its a case of WTS 2x 470 GTX. Anyone know a decent place to sell them off / what prices I should be aiming for? Still got all the boxes and what not.
