Geforce 6150?

Currently building a HTPC, was just wondering how 'powerful' this 6150 gpu is? Which graphics card would this be comparable to? 5200?

Dunno but I got 1600 3dmarks 03. Pretty naff, but good enough for HTPC. Half-Life 2 is barely playable.

You'll have trouble playing things like Farcry etc even with reduced detail at 1024x768.

For HTPC the 6150 is much better than a 5200, due to its features and hardware decoding etc. For games, well, it'll play things like WOW etc ok.

Fine for media duties

If you want to play a game though, id go for something a bit meatier

I think a 5200 would be better. I used my 6100 for a while and it could just about manage 30fps on COD at 1024*768 min settings. Very unpleasant to use. The 6150 may be better, but probably not by much.

6150 aint that bad. It is better than the 6100, neighbour has a 6100 and that plays NFSMW on a Sempron 3100+.

Detail? resolution? Even those horrible turbocache cards are better than the 6150...(or almost any IGP that has no dedicated memory)

Half-Life 2, 800x600, no AA, medium detail. Pants framerate, like 20fps, but slow walking forward also.

Apart from the obvious drawback of using system memory, the 6150 only has 2 rendering pipelines...
