Hi guys, got myself an ASUS Silent Geforce 6600 PCIx 128Mb yesterday for what I think was a bargainous £32. Thought I'd get one for Aero and possibly a bit of low end gaming (I have a 360 and Wii for serious stuff).
The problem is I can't seem to get it to output the same image through DVI and VGA at the same time. It will extend the desktop onto both screens, but not clone it. My old Radeon 9000 could do this no problems.
The problem is I've tried installing the latest forceware, but I can't see the nVidia contol panel anywhere in the windows control panel, it looks like it's not installed. I think what might have happened is that windows installed it's own default drivers, and the forceware, while on the system is not being used?
Has anyone else had a similar problem? I'd really appreciate some help on this as I'd rather not go back to my Radeon 9000 (even though Aero isn't actually as good as I expected!).
