Got a weird problem with a laptop using a 6800Go chipset and a 1920x1200 panel. Basically if I drop the resolution down below the native panel res then as soon as I log out and back in again, the lower res appears to start with but then the screen blanks for a second and the native res is back again.
The NVidia driver is obviously resetting the resolution at logon. Anyone know how to turn this infernal "feature" off? God I hate NVidia drivers
