Hi guys, I recently picked up a B grade gigabyte 760 oc winforce x3 4gb to replace my aging ati 5770.

It works, but there is a problem with the 3rd fan, the one at the end of the card. I don't want to RMA it straight off the bat.

If you look at the photos the fan blades are scraping the metal shroud, it looks to me as if it was refurbished, it was clean and dust free, but perhaps not put back together super well.
You can see a lot of clearance on the left of the blades but none on the right side.

The fan scrapes the shroud and occasionaly gets stuck and stops = super bad!
After hearing and seeing this I have reverted back to old faithfull 5770 for now.

I know a lot of you guys pull these things apart with your eyes closed, so, if I slacken the 3 screws (after buying a small screwdriver set...) is the fan posistion adjustable slightly?, so I can recenter it better.
Or slacken the shroud and adjust that?

Well slacking a lot of screws and repositioning the fan as best as I could seems to have done the trick, you take your chances with B grade, but apart from that niggle it's working great.

Suits my 1080 just perfect and the low power consuption means my old OCZ psu did'nt have to be replaced.
