GeForce 7800 Driver Problems

Hi guys,

haven't updated gfx drivers for a while now, so i decided to earlier (i have a GeForce 7800GTX), went through all the nvidia steps on the website, and restarted my PC.

However, now my desktop and all my games are all very faded in terms of colour, and i cant seem to set any of the Hue/Gamma/Contrast/Brightness settings in my Nvidia Control Panel. Any help please?

Im having problems with those drivers after just bying a 7800gs, last drivers i had was 94.24. Also noticed the different options now on the nvidia site from when i last used it. However my problem isnt the same, what drivers did you last use? and where they stable and working?

I don't know what drivers you've downloaded but when I recently had to reinstall everything for my 7800GTX, the recommended one from Nvidia's website was 94.24, same as BurntCarcus said.

I was having problems with what Windows Update had downloaded and installed, but 94.24 fixed everything a treat.

162.18 is the new WHQL driver for 7x00 cards.

Is the monitor correctly installed or is it a default driver?

Put the 162.50_quad drivers in. Those other ones have lots of problems. Ive put them in and they worked a treat!!!
