Hi guys
I want to OC my GTS, currently running at stock.
Never did such thing before, I have it with the stock fan that comes with the card.
Any help appreciated, where do I start? best software to use? What I should watch out from? Temps I should be expecting to get? etc...
Currently on idle == 57c on load around 68c.

Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Full specs: (I have it saved in a text file so...)

Core2Duo E6600 @ 3000 Mhz
GygaByte 965P-S3 - 2GB TWINMOS DDR2 667 Mhz
ASUS GEFORCE 8800 GTS 640 MB DDR3 @ STOCK
ENERMAX LIBERTY 500W
ASUS MW221U WIDE-SCREEN 22" 2MS
LOGITECH G5 @ G15
GYGABYTE AURORA 3D

Rivatuner also works well. I have my GTS at 600/1000 with that. NTune is a good utility though.

To OC it, Push the core and memory up 5 mhz, and watch for sparkies and artefacts as you run something like 3d mark 06.

ATi Tool has an automatic clocking function, just make sure that you watch it as it clocks - it cannot detect sparkies that well, so you need to stop it before it goes too far.

Definitely use the stock fan on a 8800 GTS - its quiet and a monster. I get load temps of late 70s early 80s I think, but these cards are designed to run hot so no bother.
