I'm going to be buying a Geforce 8800GT 512mb gfx card and I just want to know if anyone is using the same PSU as I've heard you need a good one to power this card. I have a Jeantech 600W Artic PSU. Also should there be any problems with my motherboard M2N-E.

I am running a 8800GTS 512mb on that exact PSU so it will be fine (along with a complete water cooling setup and heavily overclocked C2D). I also ran a overclocked 8800GTX on it without any issues at all.

Mine's running off a 350Watt PSU, along with the system spec in my sig, and 2 hard disks. Never a murmour, even with the card at 700/1000Mhz core/RAM speeds.

It'll be fine!

Either you're lucky or my PSU was weak. I had an Akasa PaxPower 460W and it b0rked after I tried to boot it up with a 8800GT. Got a Corsair 520W and all is well with the world again.

I used to use that same PSU with my 8800GTX, is it the one with the power indicator on the back. It was a prety good PSU but i gave it my cusin, think he's running an 8800gt on it.

EDIT: or was it the Jeantech 700w arctic,???? It was good anyway.
