Hi I will be ordering one of these soon I have a hafx case wanna no wot card won't hit the side fan thanks.

on a serious note, I don't think there would be any clearance issues with width of any GTX970. worst case scenario you remove the side fan. it really is not needed for a single GTX970.
 
I think the width of the PCB on all the 970s is the same if I'm not mistaken, so none of them should hit the fan on your side panel (if that's what you're talking about).

Just go for one that looks like it has a compact cooler like the Gigabyte/MSI ones.
 
What I meant was I'm ordering a 970 soon and I read in a post that someone had a hafx case and they had to remove the side fan on the hafx .thanks for the replays
 
Like kefan said just go for one that doesn't have huge heatpipes sticking out of the side.

Gigabyte G1 is a safe bet. Worst case scenario is you'll have to remove a fan which isn't much of a big deal anyway with a 970.
