Geforce Game Redeem Query

Hi

Managed to get a copy of Borderlands 2 and it one of the Geforce Nviidia redeem vouchers where you have to register on their site with a code and presumely they then send you a steam code?

My query is, i want to gift it to a friend. So technically i can just register myself and then just give the code to the person i want to gift it right?

Or do you think they match up your registered address which you redeemed with to your steam account id it going to? Doesnt really bother me really so either way is fine.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Just give your friend the code.

I think i am just going to register under myself and do all the necessary as the person i am gifting it wont know what to do. So the code i get for steam wont be bound to my account... (hopefully)

For those that are interested, you dont have to wait now. You get given the steam key on screen as soon as the voucher code is validated.and they also send a copy via email.

So it not bound to the registered account.
