Ive just been given a Sony Vaio VGN-FS195VP which has Geforce Go 6200 Turbocache graphics. I know the laptop is nothing fancy but im just wondering if hd video playback is a no go? I aint talking about Blu-ray etc just youtube hd content etc. as any videos above 480p on youtube are quite stuttery.

The previous owner had put Windows 7 Ultimate on. Would I be better going back to XP seen as the laptop only has 1gb of ram? Other than the HD playback mentioned above everything is ok just wondering if its worth put XP on to try and improve the video playback or is it just a case of the laptop isnt up to the task.

Specs are:
Intel Pentium-M Centrino Processor 1.6GHz / 533MHz FSB
1gb DDR SDRAM
80GB Hard Drive
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 TurboCache graphics supporting 128MB

Cheers
