Geforce GTX 285 thin wire connection

I was wondering what the thin wire is for and where it goes on the mobo. the thin wire next to the 2 PCI E supplies. The end is a 2 pin connector saying SPDIG and GND.

I think thatis an audio through put cable to and connects from the motherboard or sound card to the GPU to allow you to pass sound through the card. Basically its so you can use the HDMI dongle to connect to a high def. TV with audio and sound using only a HDMI lead.
I think that's it correct me if I'm wrong.

its just that i wasnt sure where to connect it , i am just ganna leave it disconnected.

You won't need it if you are using plain DVI.
