GeForce GTX 480 noise levels

Edit - I was wrong, I thought it was an open case.

Still, from what I've heard the fan really ramps up in terms of noise levels @ 95c+, in that test the gpu is running @ 89c, I'm guessing not everyone is going to be able to run their card @ that temp.

The sound on the Video seemed pretty noisy compared to idle. The mic also looked a fair distance away, certainly my computer is much closer. Factor in the Log factor ... Not sure that article is debunking anything.
 
Very nice. I can see their point of view, but they don't include any 5 series card for comparison, either in the noise of power requirements test which makes their readings meaningless. The other sites that guru3d seem to be complaining about do do an apples to apples comparison in noise so although it is not representative of actual use you can see how much more noisy the 4 series is.
